Jennifer N. Smith, Appraiser
Jennifer Smith joined the team at Walter Duke + Partners in 2003 as a commercial associate and since that time she has completed assignments in excess of $3 billion in assets throughout Florida, including many projects valued over $100 million.
Jennifer specializes in the valuation and evaluation of complex and challenging assignments covering a wide variety of property types. Examples include large scale market rate and affordable multi-family rental apartments, planned condominium projects, major existing and proposed retail shopping centers, and all types of office and industrial assets. Valuation advisory is at the core of her practice but her services also include cash flow analysis, lease analysis, market studies and consulting.
She has provided her expertise on many innovative and unique projects in the Design District, Midtown, Miami’s Central Business District and Coconut Grove. Some of her more recent notable assignments include: Mary Brickell Village, Park Grove, 355 Alhambra, District 36, Midtown 29, Riverbend Marketplace, 1600 Commons and Miramar Town Center.
Jennifer is an Affiliate Member of the Appraisal Institute and has completed all of the advanced coursework required for obtaining the MAI designation. She obtained her bachelor’s degree at Florida State University with majors in Real Estate and Finance.
Prior to joining Walter Duke + Partners, she worked on the team at Bell Griffith & Associates, a valuation firm in Tallahassee, Florida. Outside of the office, Jennifer is passionate about music, the arts and current events. She plays the trumpet and guitar and frequents local musical events.
She also supports charitable organizations, including the Humane Society, the American Cancer Society, and Women in Distress.
